KOH 2018 - Jeep, UTV or bike rental recomendations

HI,

Coming out to KOH from Scotland again (4th trip!). Looking to be mobile to get across the desert to get to good watching spots and some exploring.

We have hired a side by side before (OK), rolled up in a 2x4 Chevy Tahoe (nothing more than simple transport). Looking for some thing that we can do basic trails in.

Can you recommend any good rental companies? Do you want to rent me your buggy for the week??

So far looking at Fox rentals for a wrangler out of LA.

What can you suggest?

Thanks,

Adrian

When I went to KOH 2 years ago we were able to rent a 2 door JK from Budget Rental at Palm Springs airport for ~ $550 for the week, which included the extra liability (walk-away) insurance. My buddy got a deal through his Boats US membership, which was cheaper than the 700-1000/week other places wanted.

It was a stock rig, but worked well to get us around anywhere we wanted to go. We even ended up taking it on the Genright KOH experience on Saturday. It was a little rough for a stock vehicle, but we never got hung up or had to be winched.
